All About The Loot

If you want to know more about the shirts and design methods we choose, you found the right page.

Gildan 5000

Gildan Heavy Weight Unisex

The Gildan 5000 is our go-to. A solid shirt from a solid brand.

The cotton or cotton/poly fabric is heavy, a little bit stiff, and holds itself together for the long haul.

If you like tighter shirts, buy a size down and stretch it to fit.

Complaints include that it's itchy or stiff, and it fits like a sack. It will shrink a little the first wash or three, but not much.

Plus, it's easy to take a pair of scissors and turn it into a newbie tunic!

Gildan 6400

Gildan Softstyle Unisex

The Gildan 6400 is a soft shirt from a solid brand.

The cotton or cotton/poly fabric is softer, more comfortable, and breathes better.

If you like the modern retail standard, this is your shirt.

Complaints include it shrinks in the wash, the fabric is thinner then they like, and it rips more easily.

A good casual comfort shirt.

Printify Direct To Flex

DTFx

DTFx is screen printing, leveled up.

The design stands up from the fabric a little, but not nearly so much as traditional screen print.

It won’t fade, it will stretch before it cracks or rips, and the lines are nice and sharp.

Wash it inside out. Don’t let it melt.

If you put it through the dryer on high, the design is going to stick to itself and pull away from the fabric.

Direct To Garment

DTG

A specialized Ink Jet Printer for Shirts.

The design is just as soft as the fabric itself, and fades into a nice retro look.

Wash it gently to preserve it.

Wash inside out on a cold gentle cycle with mild detergent, hang or no-heat tumble dry. Colors may bleed in the first wash.
